Informational Item - Public Workshop

Citations for Automotive Repair Dealers
January 27, 2022
2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (or until close of business)

Following the meeting, the Bureau will host its third public workshop to discuss proposed regulations to extend BAR’s citation program to Automotive Repair Dealer (ARD) violations of the Automotive Repair Act. The first two workshops were held on April 22 and July 15, 2021. As provided by AB 471 (Low, Chapter 372, Statutes of 2021), the draft regulations now include an informal appeal process through a three-member panel (one BAR, consumer, and industry representative) for such citations.
